The singer and musician Matisyahu will come next week for a solidarity visit to Israel during which he will tour Otef, visit hospitals and hold one show open to the public with the aim of raising awareness and raising donations for the headquarters of the abductees.
Matisyahu began his career in 2005 as an ultra-Orthodox rapper who sings in the reggae style. Over the years he came back with the question. Since October 7, he has appeared at a rally for the return of the abductees in Washington and has performed on campuses and Jewish centers throughout the United States in order to strengthen the Jewish community and make its voice heard.
He visited and performed quite a bit in Israel, collaborated with local artists and expressed support for Israel around the world. At the concert in Tel Aviv he will perform some of his hits including one day, king without a crown, sunshine and Jerusalem alongside material from his upcoming album which deals quite a bit with his Jewish identity and his connection to the people of Israel.
The performance will take place on Wednesday, January 17 at Redding 3 Club, Tel Aviv Port. Proceeds go to the abductees #Bring them home now.
