Former Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Philip Breedlove, said that a full-scale war in Ukraine could end in success for the Russian Federation only if the West does not provide Kyiv with the necessary support.
He spoke about this in an interview with Newsweek.
The general emphasized that without intervention from the West, Ukrainian troops will not be able to effectively contain the enemy. The country may suffer serious losses and ultimately become controlled by the Russian Federation. The general draws attention to the numerical superiority of the Russians and assumes that, without receiving the necessary assistance, Ukraine will not have anything to fight with.
Philip Breedlove emphasized that the key point will be the West’s decision to provide Ukraine with all the necessary resources for victory. He emphasized that if there is sufficient support from Western states, Ukraine will be able to defeat the Russian Federation, as Western politicians assume.
