In the midst of the Serie A championship, the spotlight turns to the Lega del Filo d’Oro’s “Space for dreams” campaign. This initiative is a testament to the commitment of the entire football community to support the deafblind and their families.
The campaign, which has been running for 60 years, aims to provide a better life for those affected by this condition. The Lega del Filo d’Oro’s Diagnostic Center has significantly increased the number of available spaces, reducing waiting lists and providing 145 users with early interventions in 2023.
To support this noble cause, all Serie A teams have joined forces to promote the “Space for dreams” campaign. From October 25th to 27th, the big screens in all stadiums will display a video showcasing the initiative, while a dedicated graphic will be broadcast on TV screens before each match. The teams’ managers, coaches, and players will also wear the Lega del Filo d’Oro sticker on their jackets during post-game interviews.
Furthermore, some of the most well-known goalkeepers in Italian football, including Giorgio Donnarumma, Alex Meret, Daniele Padelli, and Ivan Provedel, along with former Inter defender and current coach Samir Handanovic, will be participating in the initiative. They will be joined by the iconic figures of the Lega del Filo d’Oro, Renzo Arbore and Neri Marcorè, as well as chef Filippo La Mantia.
To support this cause, fans can simply send an SMS to 45514 with the text “45514 #legadelfilodoro #spazioaisogni” or make a landline call to the same number. The value of the donation will be 2 euros for each SMS sent from WINDTRE, TIM, Vodafone, iliad, PosteMobile, Coop Voce, and Tiscali mobile phones. For landline calls, the donation value will be 5 or 10 euros for TIM, Vodafone, WINDTRE, Fastweb, and Tiscali, or 5 euros for TWT Group Unidata, Convergenze, and PosteMobile.
