Ashdod Port has launched a roadshow in Hamburg, Germany, to present its Maritime Technology Hub to international ports, shipping companies and supply chain organizations as part of its efforts to expand global partnerships and promote Israeli maritime technology.
The delegation, led by Ashdod Port Chairman Shaul Schneider, includes Roy Avrahami, head of innovation at Ashdod Port, and representatives from startups participating in the port’s Maritime Technology Hub.
The group is taking part in the All About Ports 2026 conference, an international event that brings together ports, terminal operators, investment firms and logistics companies. During the roadshow, Ashdod Port plans to pursue new commercial collaborations, identify follow-on investment opportunities for participating startups and support their expansion into international markets.
“The global maritime trade today requires stability, flexibility and forward-thinking,” Schneider said, adding that the port’s investment in innovation is intended to position Ashdod Port “as a critical and advanced link in the global economy.”
Ashdod Port CEO Nissan Levi said the port is integrating advanced technologies into its daily operations to improve efficiency and operational performance.
“The combination of a live operational environment, strong infrastructure and advanced technologies enables us to enhance port performance in real time and provide the global supply chain with solutions that are already proven in practice,” he said.
According to Avrahami, one of the Maritime Technology Hub’s key roles is helping startups test their technologies in an active port environment before entering global markets.
“Our Hub provides companies with a unique opportunity to test and refine their technologies within a live and active port environment,” he said, adding that the roadshow is “a natural step in transforming local investments into global opportunities.”
The delegation includes six startups from Ashdod Port’s Maritime Technology Hub: Conbo, Flyz Robotics, Salvador Technologies, Treedis, Spinframe Technologies and Azimut.ai. The companies develop technologies in areas including supply chain optimization, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, computer vision, digital twins, robotics and maritime technologies.
