Israel’s Yes Studios earlier this week released a trailer for its new 52-minute documentary that chronicles the Oct. 7 deadly massacre by Hamas terrorists at a music festival in Israel near the Gaza Strip.

The film #Nova is comprised entirely of real-time video and audio footage taken by some of the more than 3,500 people who attended the Supernova music festival in Re’im, Israel, as well as by the Hamas terrorists behind the attack, in which 360 people were killed and dozens more were injured and taken as hostages to Gaza.

“Tens of thousands will die in the name of Islam,” says one Hamas terrorist in a video that is featured in the film. Other footage filmed on mobile phones shows Supernova partygoers talking about hiding from the terrorists and sending messages to their families back home. In one audio clip taken from a phone call, a father tells his child who is hiding from the terrorists, “Yuvali, deep breaths. Stay hidden. Pretend you’re dead. Play dead, Yuvali, play dead.”

One panicked partygoer cries as she tells her father over the phone, “Dad, there are so many dead bodies, send the police here. Dad, please call the police, send them here urgently.”

Israel’s Yes Studios said #Nova is the most viewed film in the company’s history, according to Israel’s Walla news site.  The documentary aired in Israel on Yes TV earlier this month and is available to broadcasters worldwide.

Guy Lavie, vice president of documentaries at yes TV, said the documentary is compiled “solely from real-time footage, much of it exclusive — and with no testimonials nor commentaries,” capturing “the genuine emotions and horror endured by thousands of music lovers, their families, and indeed our whole nation.”

Hamas terrorists attacked the Supernova music festival as well as other parts of southern Israel during the early hours of Oct. 7. During their deadly rampage they murdered 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and took 240 others as hostages back to Gaza. More than 100 hostages have thus far been released, mainly as part of a temporary ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
