Jackson Memorial Hospital To Expand ED In Miami, Florida


Jackson Memorial Hospital broke ground on a $300 million expansion project that will triple the size of its emergency department (ED), according to the website wsvn.com.

The 130,000-square-foot project will include more than 200 patient rooms, 50 observation rooms, 30 pediatric rooms, and six resuscitation rooms.

The first phase is slated to be completed by fall 2025 and the second phase is expected to wrap up in 2026.
