University Health (San Antonio) broke ground on University Health Retama Hospital in Selma, Texas, according to the website ksat.com.
Situated on 42 acres adjacent to Retama Park racetrack, the five-story project will be connected to a 100,000-square-foot medical office building (MOB).
Slated to open in 2027, the hospital will offer specialty care, as well as health and lab services. It will initially house 166 inpatient beds with capacity to flex up to 286 beds.
