The advisor to the leader of the murderous Hamas terror organization provided further details regarding the emerging agreement for the release of hostages.
According to the advisor, negotiations for a comprehensive deal would begin on the first day of the ceasefire.
He claimed that “Hamas fulfilled its obligations to the Palestinian people with the effort to end the war, despite the Israeli foot-dragging, and managed to prove that it is not the side that shot down the deal.”
The advisor called on the mediators to pressure Israel into accepting the deal, and noted that so far, no new Israeli conditions have been received, and all scenarios remain open.
He claimed that the US is a guarantor in the deal, and there is no section forcing Hamas to disarm.
Senior Hamas official Taher al-Nunu called the new proposal a “midpoint” between Hamas and Israel’s positions in the recent round of talks. He added that there are US guarantees for the deal’s implementation.
