Russia, according to the Ukrainian military, can prepare for the seizure of part of Kherson. At the same time, the Kremlin does not consider the possibility of a truce and already plan further military operations.
This was announced on the air of the Ukrainian “Radio NV” by Lieutenant General, former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Romanenko.
According to him, in the Kherson direction, Russian troops damaged the bridge, which could be part of the landing plan in the area of the ship’s ship. To prepare such an operation, the invaders take control of the islands in the Dnieper delta and strengthen the selected site.
Romanenko noted that the threat is growing on the Zaporizhzhya front. In particular, the enemy was activated in the Orekhov direction, in the areas of Kamensky, Stepnogorsk and near Gulyaipol. These positions are about 25 kilometers from Zaporozhye, and the presence of a straight road to the city makes the situation even more alarming.
The situation in the south continues to aggravate. On the eve of CNN reported that Russian forces may be preparing a second attack on Kherson. According to them, the destruction of the bridge was supposed to divide the city into two parts, isolating the ship area.
Journalists note that increased pressure in order to separate this territory from the rest of Kherson causes concerns: in the coming weeks, the invaders can resort to massive shelling, and then try to land the landing on the flat terrain.
