He died at the scene.
On Thursday, lines stretched around the block at the Thornton Funeral Centre in Oshawa, where services were held for the popular Stouffville native, CTV News reported. Inside, the overflow room was also packed.

Officiant Keith Callahan decried the shooting as a “senseless act.”
“He had a way of walking into a room and making it lighter. Turning strangers into teammates, strangers into family. If you knew Mikey, you knew warmth, big hugs, a clap on the back that always said ‘I always got you,’” his brother Jacob Robinson said.
The service was also watched in Sheboygan Falls, where residents of the tiny town were stunned that such shocking, pointless violence could happen in their community, WeareGreenBay.com reported..

In the town, north of Milwaukee, a small memorial was erected, complete with floral bouquets and a small Canadian flag. A number of locals watched the livestreamed service. One viewer wrote: “Thank you so much for doing this for us that couldn’t come.”

On Sept. 24, Robinson was on an annual golfing trip with family members. After leaving the Falls Tavern around midnight, the group of four tried to catch a ride back to their hotel.
According to the criminal complaint, Robinson and his group of Canadian golfers attempted to negotiate a ride back to their hotel after struggling to get a lift on rideshare apps. The quartet had spent the night celebrating the rare links feat.
The criminal complaint said the Canadian group, including Robinson, tried to negotiate with DoorDash driver Luis Cruz-Burgos, 35, for a lift back to their hotel. One witness alleged that Cruz-Burgos wanted $60 per person.

But the group refused to pay that price and decided to walk to their hotel in Kohler, about 8 km away.
Witnesses identified Cruz-Burgos as the person the Canadian group refused to pay for the ride. The accused and a witness later told detectives there had been no dispute over money.
The driver did complain that one of the golfers called him “stupid” and flipped him off. Eight minutes later, police received a 911 call reporting that a man was suffering from a gunshot wound.
That was Mike Robinson.
Cruz-Burgos is charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the death of Robinson., He is being held on $2 million bail and denies shooting anyone.
Robinson is survived by his wife, Rachel, and their newborn daughter, Farrah, who was born in August. His parents and two brothers also survive him.
