Police fail to curb Israeli violence against Palestinian bus drivers in Jerusalem

In the span of 24 hours, passengers attacked drivers in nine separate incidents in Jerusalem earlier this week. Union data shows attacks have increased by 30 percent, with more than 100 incidents reported this year, but they say the police aren’t doing enough to stop it

Riad al-Hasini, a bus driver in Jerusalem, submitted his letter of resignation on Tuesday to his employer, Superbus, after passengers pepper-sprayed him.
