They will pitch to a team of investor judges who will ask a series of questions to challenge their business models, and to quantify their tech, strategy, and path to market. BioTrillion, Inc. is an AI-powered health tech platform that seeks to convert smartphones into contactless health monitors. The medtech company claims its technology can measure vital signs and digital biomarkers with a 10-second selfie video to facilitate early disease detection. Savan Devani is founder and CEO of the San Francisco-based business.
Docology‘s flagship product uses AI and optical character recognition technologies to extract critical and relevant clinical history from complex patient referral packets, then generate a concise history of present illness and medical timeline. The company wants to reduce clinical preparation time for physicians, nurse practitioners, and their staff. Andrew Rogers is the CEO and co-founder and is based in Omaha, Nebraska.
D2Type is an integrative digital platform to help people at risk for Type 2 diabetes as well as people with the condition. Its approach is focused on helping users make lifestyle changes to improve their health. Those who use D2Type have lowered their weight and reduced their risk of diabetes. It also makes use of health coaches and peer-support groups. Co-founder Ameneh Madjd is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Remmie, Inc. is a medtech startup that developed an FDA-registered USB-smart otoscope for convenient at-home ear exams on phones, tablets, and computers, according to the company’s website. Remmie.ai and the Remmie App capture and stream high-quality visuals for fast telehealth and pre-visit assessments. Jane Zhang, founder and CEO, is based in Seattle.
SequestBio decodes tumor microenvironments for precision oncology, according to its LinkedIn page. Its AI/quantum platform is designed to predict cancer metastasis and therapy resistance, discover novel targets, and fuel a theranostics pipeline, starting with its SQT-101 antibody for triple negative breast cancer (TNBC).
