Senior Israeli defense officials have expressed doubt regarding the International Stabilization Force’s ability to destroy the remaining tunnels in the Gaza Strip that serve Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad and say that a professional international engineering force, with tunnel destruction as its main mission, will be needed to demolish tunnels not destroyed during the war.
