Said Ahmed Kadan, 60 years old, a former councilor in the Baqa Al Gharbia Council was murdered yesterday (Sunday) by gunfire in his car hours before the beginning of the month of Ramadan. Kadan is the 38th murdered in Arab society since the beginning of the year.

Two days ago, Rasmi Abu Mokh was murdered on road 9 near Baqa al Gharbia. During the weekend, 4 more people were murdered: Hisham Wafi Amon, 22 years old, Birka, Atiya Aljuini and Ali Rahil Abu Tarash, 30 years old, at a gas station near Arad, Petin Kazal in Ma’ar.

According to the Avraham Initiatives organization, 38 Arabs have lost their lives since the beginning of 2024 in circumstances related to violence and crime. 32 of the victims were shot dead.
