On June 16, a day after two Iranian missiles struck the Weizmann Institute of Science in central Israel, 66-year-old Prof. Brian Berkowitz entered the ruins of his laboratory. Wearing a helmet, he spent hours crawling across the floor. The power was out, water dripped from the ceiling, shards of glass littered the floor and the air was heavy with the stench of chemicals.
