Galatasaray and Marseille on Calabria, Milan sets two conditions and has already chosen the replacement

As the transfer window approaches, the fate of Calabria’s contract is still uncertain. The 27-year-old right-back, who is set to expire in July, has not yet been approached by his current club, Milan, regarding a potential contract renewal. Despite this, Calabria has not given up on the idea of staying with the Rossoneri, and is open to negotiating a new deal at a lower salary of around 2 million euros per season.

However, Milan has set two conditions for Calabria to stay: the player must be willing to leave in January, and the club must receive an offer of 3-4 million euros. If these conditions are not met, it seems that Calabria’s future may lie abroad. Galatasaray, in particular, has been interested in the right-back for some time and may make a move for him in the coming months.

Marseille, too, is reportedly making evaluations on Calabria, with a view to signing him up to a contract. The French club’s coach, De Zerbi, has even been in contact with the player, discussing the possibility of a move. Meanwhile, Milan’s management believes they already have a suitable replacement for Calabria in their ranks: 22-year-old Alejandro Jimenez, who was signed from Real Madrid for 5 million euros last year.

The situation is still uncertain, with much to be decided in the coming weeks. Will Calabria ultimately stay at Milan or move on to pastures new? Only time will tell.
