Cairo warned Washington that the Israeli plan for the occupation of the Gaza “will inevitably lead to the death of Israeli hostages, since their abductors received an instruction” neutralize “them in case of siege.” This was written by the newspaper Al-Akhbar with reference to the Egyptian diplomat. The diplomat also added that “Egyptian President Abd al-Fatta al-Sisi asked for a direct connection with US President Donald Trump.”
