A missile from Yemen crossed into Israeli territory, an intercept fragment fell in the Modi’in area

The 455th day of the war: The IDF intercepted a missile from Yemen that crossed into Israeli territory, and an intercept fragment fell in the Modi’in area. Following the launch, alarms were set off in Gush Dan, Sharon, the Shefala, Jerusalem, and Mate Yehuda. No casualties are known. MDA forces treated 12 people who were injured on their way to a protected area, and 9 victims of anxiety.

An Israeli delegation will leave today (Friday) for the Qatari capital Doha, for discussions in negotiations for a deal for the release of the abductees and a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed last night. On behalf of the families of the abductees it was announced that they welcome “the decision to send the Israeli delegation to Qatar. The window of opportunity must not be missed.”

The IDF spokesman said that fighter jets of the Air Force attacked and destroyed, under the intelligence guidance of the Amman, medium-range rocket launchers that were used by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Near another military site, the organization’s rocket launchers were attacked in the Nabatiya area. “As part of the enforcement of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, before the attack a request was sent to the Lebanese army to neutralize the launchers that posed a threat to the Israeli home front. The launchers were attacked only after the request was not handled by the Lebanese army.”

Beirut airport security detained a plane belonging to the Iranian airline Mahan Air, on the suspicion that the flight was carrying funds intended for Hezbollah. According to reports, Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mulawi said that “at this moment an inspection of the plane is being carried out”. The local authorities said that any money found on the plane would be transferred to the state of Lebanon.
