►Media: plans drawn up by Sinwar to attack Israel on October 7 were found

Israeli troops found a computer in a Gaza bunker with a six-page handwritten note dated August 2022 and written, according to The New York TimesHamas leader Ihye Sinwar. The publication cites seven high-ranking Israeli sources. The document contained instructions to set fire to residential areas, film violence, kill and take hostages. Intercepted communications between Hamas commanders confirm these orders: “Burn everything,” “Kill everyone you meet,” “Take as many hostages as possible.” Israeli experts confirmed the authenticity of Sinwar’s handwriting, but Hamas refused to comment on the discovery. Tel Aviv believes that the document proves that the October 7 attack was initially aimed at the massacre of civilians, although Hamas leaders systematically claim that the attack was purely military in nature.

At the same time, the IDF launched strikes in the south of Lebanon, where the weapons depot in the Aita al-Shaab region is insignificant.

At about 7:00 on Saturday, October 7, the holiday of Simchat Torah, terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip launched a combined attack against Israel – terrorist infiltration from land, sea and air and massive rocket fire from the south and center, up to the Hasharon region. More than 1,200 people were brutally killed. In response, the IDF launched Operation Iron Swords (Harvot-barzel). Intelligence agencies believe that Hamas has been preparing an invasion since the beginning of 2022. It was carefully planned and thoroughly provided with weapons and intelligence information.
