Law enforcement officers in Tel Aviv on Sunday arrested several Palestinians in connection to an alleged terror attack plot, after an hours-long manhunt.
Police said two suspects, from the Nablus area, were caught in a joint operation with the Shin Bet secret service, and were transferred for interrogation.
Some Hebrew media outlets reported that additional Palestinians tied to the terror plot were detained, though there was no official confirmation.
The arrests were carried out in northern Tel Aviv.
Reports said the Shin Bet sent out an alert earlier Sunday regarding the planned attack, leading to the extended chase for the suspects, who entered Israel illegally.
Earlier this month, a Palestinian man from Tulkarem was arrested in the central district city of Ra’anana, also after an extended manhunt, on suspicion that he was planning a terror attack.

Since October 7, 2023, 53 people, including Israeli security personnel, have been killed in terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank. Another eight members of the security forces were killed in clashes with terror operatives in the West Bank.
In that time, troops have arrested some 6,000 wanted Palestinians across the West Bank, including more than 2,350 affiliated with Hamas.
According to the Palestinian Authority health ministry, more than 950 West Bank Palestinians have been killed during the same period. The IDF says the vast majority of them were gunmen killed in exchanges of fire, rioters who clashed with troops, or terrorists carrying out attacks.
